The Compassionate Friends is an organisation of bereaved parents and their families offering understanding, support and encouragement to others after the death of a child or children. They also offer support, advice and information to other relatives, friends and professionals who are helping the family.

They provide support for parents and families whose baby is stillborn or dies soon after birth.

London Bereavement Network is a forum for bereavement services throughout the Greater London area. It exists to promote good working practices in bereavement care across the Capital. Ir provides information and support to members of the public and to other professionals and offers support, training and guidance to its member services. It is a registered charity with its major funder being the London Boroughs Grants Unit.

Manchester Area Bereavement Forum is a bereavement support and training organisation set up by volunteers in 1993 to offer support to people experiencing loss and those caring agencies involved in bereavement work within a variety of professional and non-professional settings.
Association for Death Education and Counseling
ADEC is on of the oldest interdisciplinary organizations in the field of dying, death and bereavement. The almost 2000 members are made up of a wide array of mental and medical health personnel, educators, clergy, funeral directors, and volunteers. ADEC offers numerous educational opportunities through its annual conference, courses and workshops, its new certification program, and via its acclaimed newsletter, The Forum.

The American Academy of Bereavement, a non-profit organization founded in 1993, is a national association devoted to the education, preparation and advancement of bereavement specialists.
