Aims & Scope
© 2008 Thomson Reuters, Journal Citations Report® for 2007 ranks Death Studies 19th out of 28 journals in Biomedical Social Sciences, 16th out of 32 journals in Social Issues, and 43rd out of 99 journals in Multidisciplinary Psychology, with an Impact Factor of 0.826.
Now published ten times each year, this acclaimed journal provides refereed papers on significant research, scholarship, and practical approaches in the fast growing areas of bereavement and loss, grief therapy, death attitudes, suicide, and death education. It provides an international interdisciplinary forum in which a variety of professionals share results of research and practice, with the aim of better understanding the human encounter with death and assisting those who work with the dying and their families.

All articles have undergone anonymous double-blind review by at least two referees.
